WHO WE ARE
Dare to Dream Productions is a Chicago-based production company that creates socially aware and empowering films with inclusive casts and crew. We focus on feminist storylines and LGBT+ centric stories that are not just about coming out. It was founded in December 2018 by Bridget Johnson and her father Kevin Johnson.
Bridget Johnson
(President & Founder) Bridget is a Director and Writer who graduated in June 2021 from DePaul University with a BFA in Film Directing. She specializes in writing and directing feel-good films that leave the audience thinking about their own lives and their impact on this world. She explores unique stories that showcase different perspectives. She believes in unity and creating strong female protagonists. |
Kevin Johnson
(Co-President) Kevin is VP of Sales at LSAV (Lake Shore AudioVisual). He has partnered with corporations and associations for more than three decades. His extensive knowledge of audio-visual solutions and business skills coupled with his easygoing nature makes Kevin a favorite choice for high-touch branding experiences. |
